yeah...Just a quick peek: Got this on sale at Harbor Freight a few weeks ago... Nice quality floor jack rated at 3000 pounds...VERY LIGHT aluminum alloy, high efficiency rollers,1/4 turn release on handle, large pivot seat. All around great floor jack for the money... Lists for $99.00 ...I got it on sale for $78.00...But I know a certain Administrator on this site that also has a $20.00 coupon off of THAT sale price! ;D Great deal if you're in the market for the floor jack you always should have bought...but never did! idk some times the cheaper tools tend to break i got a NAPA low profile 2 1/2 ton jack for 240 and that thing is a FTL! champ even lifted my uncles ram 2500 Hey, Easy on the French there big525i - jus' tryin' ta keep things tidy 'round here. Ya'll gotta' remember: This here jack ain't no Hercules lifting implement It is intended for intermittent lifting functions and would come in handy for the occasional flats that we ALL deal with. ;D As I posted recently, it is EXTREMELY light in weight, highly maneuverable and very small for it's lifting ability. I took the liberty of looking up some of the low profile floor jacks that NAPA had to offer...The one in particular that I found in the price range that you indicated was a 2 & 1/4 ton capacity unit. Most of the "dolly" construction appeared to be stamped steel, heavy duty enough for most off the track work. ...amongst other things, it weighed in at a mere 84 plus pounds! The floor jack I purchased and described is 29 pounds. It has a lift height of 14 & 3/4" and would have no problem being stowed in a very tight compartment. The intended purpose of this floor jack,as previously mentioned, would be used as an interim, rapid deployment device to raise a medium weight vehicle for tire change, inspection and possible vehicle positioning in tight spaces. I hope that this post might define the characteristics of both the jacks described and their intended purposes. Oh, and one last note : BOTH of the floor jacks described in this post were manufactured in ...Guess Where? CHINA! See Ya'll around the Tool Bin! Best Regards, Sixpack
